Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Chennai Airport / Railway station

Pick up from Chennai airport & transfer to the Hotel. On arrive check-in the hotel. After Refreshment, visit places like

•    MGR Film City
•    Marina Beach

MGR Film City is film studio complex.Where we can see the many movie sets.Also on every day you have a Movie Making show for 30 minutes. Marina beachis the second longest beach in the world on the Coromondal Bay of Bengal.

Day 02: Chennai City Tour

After breakfast, visit places like

•    Valluvar Kottam
•    Theme Park (MGM, Kiskinta, Queen Land VGP Universal / snow world)
•    Victory war Memorial

ValluvarKottam is the memorial of Thiruvalluvar. The most important Tamil author the great Poet & Philosopher Thiruvalluvar, who wrote Tirukkural. Where he said how a person has to live the worldly life with his 1330 kural of olaichuvadi. Shaped like a Temple Chariot in fact this the replica of Temple Chariot Thiruvarur Car.

 Day 03: Chennai - Mahabalipuram (60km) - Pondicherry (95 km)

•    After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & transfer to Mahabalipuram. Mahabalipuram   Shore Temple - 1500 years old

Mahabalipuram is known as the group of monuments with all its rock art & sculptures. Most of the monuments are monolithic. Ie., carved by one single rock. It is so named because it overlooks the shore of the Bay of Bengal.  It was built from the top to the bottom by stone carving. Krishna Butter Ballis a Gigantic Granite Boulder resting on a short incline in the historical coastal of Mahabalipuram. Butter is krishna’s favourite food and it is a myth that it falls from heaven.

Day 04: Pondicherry

After breakfast, visit places like

•    Pondicherry Union Territory
•    Gandhi Memorial
•    Auroville&Promanade Beach

Pondicherry is recorded only after arrival of Dutch, Portuguese, British& French Colonists.Still lot of French people stay there with an independent area called french colony. Gandhi Memorial in pondichery is tribute to the father of Nation and located on the beach front of Pondicherry. Auroville is Yoga & Meditation centre.

Evening free for Shopping.Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05: Pondicherry - Chidambaram - Kumbakonam (150 kms, 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & transfer to Kumbakonam.

•    Chidambaram Thillai Natarajar Temple (God of Space)

Natarajartemple is located at the center point of world Magnetic Equator. These 21600 gold sheets are fixed on the Gopuram using 72000 gold nails which denote the total no. of Nadis (Nerves) in the human body. These transfer energy to certain body parts that are invisible9 Kalasas on the Golden Roof represent the 9 types of Sakthi or Energies. Also you could find Natarajar Statue in NASA denotes God of Space.

Day 06: Kumbakonam

After breakfast, visit places like Navagraha Temple:

•    Vaitheswaran temple (Chevvai Temple)

Day 07: Kumbakonam - Navagraha Temple

Morning after breakfast, transfer to visit

•    Thiruvenkadu (Bhudhan Temple)
•    Alangudi (Guru Temple)
•    Kanchanoor (Sukran Temple)

Day 08: Kumbakonam - Navagraha Temple (220 kms, 4 hrs)

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel & transfer to visit

•    Thirunallar Sani Eeswaran Temple (Lord Sani Temple)
•    Thiru Nageswaram (Ragu Temple)
•    Keezhaperumpallam (Kethu Temple)

Then transfer to Madurai. On arrive check-in the hotel. Overnight stay at Madurai hotel.

Day 09: Madurai (200 kms, 4 hrs)

Morning after Breakfast, visit

•    Meenakshi Amman Temple
•    Thousand Pillar Hall
•    Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal
•    Thiruparankundram
•    Bull Visit (Jallikattu)

Meenakshiamman temple is 2500 years old temple. It has 33000 sculptures in it.  The temple has 14 gopurams and 4 gateways.Thirumalai nayakkar Mahal – Built in 1636. The design and architecture is a blend of Dravidan& Rajasthan styles. Everyday  evening you will see the Sound and Light show of Sillappathikaram. Thousand Pillar Hall – when we touch these Pillar it will produce music.  Jallikattu is a 2500 years old Bull Catching festival.

Evening drop at  Madurai airport /railway station.
