Itinerary

Day 1 : Jammu / Srinagar– Srinagar

Arrive Jammu Railway Station or Srinagar Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer to Srinagar Hotel. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure & Yatra preparation. Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.

Day 2 : Srinagar – Sonmarg – Baltal – Amarnath Ji

On the second day of your Amarnath Yatra Tour Package by Helicopter, you will be transferred to Neelgrath in Baltal by car. Neelrgath is where the helipad is located. If Weather permitiing, helicopters from Baltal operate between 6:00 Am to 5:00 PM. The helicopter ride will drop you at Panjtarni helipad is around 6 Km from the Amarnath Holy Cave.

As you land on the Panjtarni helipad, visit Amarnath Cave (6 Km from Panjtarni). You can go there on foot (2 hrs walk), hitch a pony and palki at your own cost. The cave is a sea of serenity and spirituality. Observe the huge shiv lingam which forms naturally from snow every year. Besides the massive Shiv lingam, two smaller ice lingams are believed to represent Ma Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Unveil the mysteries associated with the holy cave and if you get lucky enough, you may get to eyewitness a couple of the immortal pigeon. Once done with exploring the cave till your heart’s content, return to Panjtarni.

After Darshan of holy cave, come back to Panjtarni to take the ride back to Neelgrath Helipad in Baltal. From here, you will be relocated back to Sonamarg. This completes your Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter.

Arrival Transfer to Srinagar

***Optional add onn of 1 night extension ------------ After darshan return back to Camp, stay at Govt’s Camps. Dinner at Lunger & overnight stay at Panchtarni.

Next Day Morning board the helicopter for Baltal.

Day 3 : Srinagar– Sonmarg – Srinagar

Breakfast ay free for local Sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit Mughal garden. At evening, enjoy Shikara ride in world famous Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel or House boat.

Day 4 : Srinagar – Katra

Breakfast, check-out from the hotel & proceed for Katra by road (270 Kms/8 Hrs drive). On arrival at Katra, check-in at the hotel in Katra for dinner & overnight stay.

Day 5 : Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan

Start Day early & morning, get dropped at Banganga to start the holy journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. From here start the trek of 13kms (one way) to reach the shrine of Mata Devi. En route darshan of Ardhkuwari. By reaching the temple perform Pooja, aarti, darshan and seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. Spend some time in the shrine of Mata Devi. Later start the trek back to Katra. If needed one can opt the helicopter service/Pony/Palki to reach the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi from Katra (at own cost). Same day return back to Katra for overnight stay.

Day 6 : Drop At Katra/Jammu Railway Stn Or Airport

Climate

The climatic conditions are very uncertain. Rain or snowfall may take place at any time during the yatra. It is to be particularly noted that abrupt changes in temperature might occur. Sunny weather may turn into rain or snow in a short time. The temperature may fall to -5 degrees Celsius.

Advisory for Amarnath tour

Kindly book your flight to Srinagar by morning or by afternoon (Latest before 2:00 PM). Yatries who are reaching Srinagar airport by evening flight –After 02:30 - 03:00 PM & onwards they should stay 01st Night stay at Srinagar only instead of Sonmarg / Pahalgam due to security reason ARMY people will not be allowed to proceed for Sonmarg/ Pahalgam. If due to security reasons you will be unable to reach your pre-booked hotel/ destination in this case it will be treated as No – Show without and refund (Last moment cancellation/ amendment will not be acceptable). Kindly book your departure flight only in the late evening from Srinagar so that you can easily reach Srinagar airport without any delays to catch your flight. Therefore, before booking your same day return package, check your flight timing so that you do not face any kind of inconvenience.

Useful Information:

Your journey shall involve trekking across high mountains, facing strong cold winds. You must carry (i) adequate woolen clothing; (ii) a small umbrella (preferably one which is tied with an elastic band around your head and supported by a strap around the chin); (iii) windcheater; (iv) raincoat; (v) waterproof trekking shoes; (vi) torch; (vii) walking stick; (viii) cap (preferably a monkey cap); (ix) gloves; (x) jacket; (xi) woolen socks; (xii) trousers (preferably a waterproof pair). These items are essential as the climate is highly unpredictable and changes abruptly from sunny weather to rain and snow. The temperature can sometimes abruptly fall to 5 degrees Celcius or lower.
For Ladies: saree is not a suitable dress for the Yatra. Salwar Kameez, pant-shirt or a track suit will be better. Ladies who are more than 6 week pregnant shall not be allowed to undertake the pilgrimage.
Keeping in view the tough nature of the trek, children below 13 year in age and elderly persons above the age of 70 years shall not be permitted to undertake the pilgrimage.
You must strictly follow the instructions issued by the Yatra administration, from time to time.
Don’t stop at places which are marked by warning notices
Don’t attempt any short cuts on the route as doing so would be dangerous
Earth, water, air, fire and sky are integral parts of Lord Shiva. The Base camp and the entire Yatra routes are the abode of Shri Amarnathji. Throughout your pilgrimage you must respect the environment and do nothing to pollute it
All waste materials must be placed in the nearest dustbin. All organic wastes must be put in the dustbin which is green colored.
Postpaid connection required in Jammu & Kashmir sector. Please carry the postpaid mobile connections.

Cancellation Policy of Helicopter tickets:

The Holy Cave is around 6 Kms from the Panjtarni Helipad. The Yatris traveling to Panjtarni by Helicopter will have to travel the distance on foot or on Ponies / Dandies as may be available at Panjtarni.
If the scheduled flight is cancelled due to bad weather or technical reasons, passengers would get priority the next day {as per the aviation management, current situations and previous rush}. All passengers have to collect the refund amount directly from the Helipad. Refunds will be made by the Operators as per ticket printed price with as per cancellation policy.
We will not be responsible in case you will not get the refund from the aviation services, Due to lack of payment if Charter’s official will advise you to put the cancellation stamp & sign in the Helicopter tickets {at Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad/ Katra Helipad} by them to collect the refund from passenger’s travel agents, in this case we can just process your refund request to the Charter’s office/ Authorized agents. Whenever we will get the refund will forward to the passengers. In case of any kind of delay in refund / Non Payment by the aviation services, our company will not be liable for the same. To claim the refund we would require the original Cancelled Tickets with stamp and sign {from Neelgarth/ Pahalgam Helipad and in Karta at Niharika Bhawan}. You have to mention the cancellation stamp & sign in your helicopter tickets.

Note:

1st night stay may be at Srinagar or Sonmarg as per helicopter ticket timing.
Hotels and Helicopter tickets are subject to availability, Services mentioned in the itinerary are subject to confirmation. Due to bad weather or technical reasons if Helicopter service is cancelled, extra day’s accommodation has to be taken care of by the guest directly. Transportation would be charged extra on a per day basis.

After making the payment

Once you have initiated the payment transfer, please send us a confirmation email providing the transaction details. We will send you the payment invoice (bill) immediately on receiving the amount in our account.
