Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi and transfer to the hotel Check into your hotel, get freshen up and be ready to witness the world-famous Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat or Assi Ghat.
Post Aarti, take a leisurely walk through Vishwanath Gali, a lane filled with century old sweet shops and silk emporiums. Don’t miss the legendary Banarasi paan and a glass of creamy Malaiyo, a winter special. Let the first night in Varanasi sink in as you prepare for the deeper explorations.
Day 2: Explore The Secrets of Kashi
Begin your day with a boat ride on the Ganges. As the sun rises and the gold touches the water, you glide past 88 ghats, each with its own story. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which recently got the grand Kashi Vishwanath Corridor and now entry is pretty seamless.
Next, visit Manikarnika Ghat where the eternal flames of cremations burn, symbolizing life and death. A local priest might tell you that the fire here has never been extinguished. After lunch, drive from Varanasi to Sarnath covering a distance of 10 Km where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Walk through the ruins, the massive Dhamek Stupa and the ancient monastery remains. As the day ends, relax at Assi Ghat where the evening bhajans will create a magical atmosphere or take a temple tour of Varanasi with visit to Sankatmochan Temple, Manas Mandir etc.
Day 3: Varanasi- Ayodhya
After breakfast, drive to Ayodhya 6hrs hours approx via NH30. Upon arrival, check in your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 4: A Full Day Trip in Ram Nagari-Ayodhya
Wake up early morning and start your Ayodhya tour with visit to Hanuman Garhi and Ram Mandir. Afterwards, visit Kanak Bhawan, Sita Ki Raso, Dasrath Mahal, Ram Katha Park and other famous attractions. In the evening, take a walk to Saryu River and take part in aarti and diya lighting. Also enjoy light and sound show at Ram ki Paidi depicting Ramayan stories. Stay overnight in hotel.
Day 5: Departure from Ayodhya
Post breakfast, depart from Ayodhya for Delhi to cover 750 km which can take 9-10 hours. As you leave you will be taking with you more than just pictures; you will be taking a part of these religious cities with you, etched in your heart forever. The journey ends but its impact lasts a lifetime.
