यह यात्रा कब आयोजित होती है?
बस ओवरलैंड यात्रा की अच्छी अवधि मई से सितंबर के बीच होती है, जब मौसम अपेक्षाकृत स्थिर होता है और रास्ते खुलते हैं। मानसून के दौरान तिब्बत क्षेत्र में बारिश कम होती है, इसलिए ये महीना खासकर मिश्री यात्रियों के लिए अनुकूल है
यात्रा की अवधि और मार्ग क्या है?

ऊँचाई पर एडजस्टमेंट और स्वास्थ्य संबंधी सावधानियाँ:
कैलाश क्षेत्र की यात्रा उच्च ऊँचाई (लगभग 5,000 मीटर से अधिक) पर होती है। इसलिए तीव्र ऊँचाई के कारण अल्टीट्यूड सिकनेस (AMS), HAPE, HACE जैसी समस्याएँ हो सकती हैं। सावधानीपूर्वक तैयार रहें और अध्यायन अनुसार कदम उठाएं

नेपाल से आगे तिब्बत की ओर यात्रा करते समय मोबाइल नेटवर्क रेंज सीमित या बिल्कुल नहीं होता है। चीनी नेटवर्क (China Mobile / Unicom) थोड़ी सुविधा प्रदान कर सकते हैं, लेकिन इंटरनेट व Wi-Fi बहुत दुर्लभ और धीमी रहती है

Mount Kailash Inner Kora Tour Best Time
Between May and mid-October is the best weather-wise period for the Inner Kora of Mt. Kailash. The weather ranges between -7°C and 28°C with sharp air, blue sky, and great visibility for trekking as well as seeing Mt. Kailash and Mt. Yinjiento/Nandi. The Sagadawa festival in late May or early June is also another time to enjoy both the inner kora and outer kora of Kailas. You can come together with thousands of local Tibetans to watch them tie their prayers on a flagpole with colorful pieces of cloth spread in front.

Every location also has shared rooms for groups. There are accommodations all the way to Kailash i.e., Dongba, Darchen, etc.
How to Prepare for Mount Kailash Inner Kora?

Food during Kailash Inner Kora Tour
Stay in the same hotel and the package includes any national and international food during your stay in Kathmandu. All the food in the Kailash tour package is Vegetarian. Our staff at NTP will provide you with, a hot meal three times a day breakfast lunch dinner while heading to the Kailash tour. You will be provided with a packed lunch during Kailash Circuit (trekking/ kora). And you can take with you also some of your favorite dried food from the tour.
Health precautions you should keep in mind
In the regions of Tibet, like Kailash and Manasarover Lake oxygen levels are typically lower. People may experience symptoms such as decreased appetite, slight headaches, nausea, fatigue, shortness of breath, uneasiness, irritability, dizziness, confusion, and difficulty sleeping due, to the conditions and high altitudes which are not commonly experienced in areas.
Such symptoms can affect anyone regardless of their age, gender, or fitness level. It is advisable to steer of tranquilizers sleeping pills and potent antibiotics when embarking on the Kailash tour. Instead, gradual acclimatization is key, to tackling these symptoms as they may signal our bodies adjusting to surroundings. Here are some essential tips you should keep in mind to mitigate these risks.
Take a deep breath and relax
Keep quiet rather than talking much but don’t forget to smile every time if possible
Rest for 10 minutes after a thirty-minute walk and lighten your load accordingly.
Put on your headphones and listen to your favorite music, Bhajans, chanting etc. You can also say a prayer or visualize everything around you that would correspond to your good thoughts.
It is always better to be over-dressed so as not to catch a cold.
Pause every time you feel uncomfortable and rest for some time.
Don’t get involved in the shouting of fellow pilgrims.
Do not undertake this assignment on an empty stomach, drink plenty of fluids, and have proper nutritious snacks.
Avoid bathing or drinking water from Lake Streams or rivers en route.
During long stretches of driving avoid dust and direct sunshine.
The jagged ground, steep slope, and slushy banks are full of potholes. Be careful while walking and sightseeing together.
Always be in a group with a guide or one who knows better about such places.
Don’t overdo it. Heavy warm clothing is common in winter times.
Extra Tips For Kailash Tour
It is not allowed to carry books, magazines, or pictures relating to Tibet, Buddhism, or any Lamas. The Chinese customs will never allow you in with such kinds of books and they will destroy or keep them.Do not come with fresh vegetables, fruits Ghee/oils, etc because those are prohibited by the Chinese customs at Kodari, Lhasa Airport, and Hilsa (Simikot).
Photos and videos are strictly forbidden within the Chinese customs, Army, and police posts.

Nepal Document and Chinese Document Process
The Nepal Document fee costs about INR3080 and you can avail of that from the Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu as upon arrival option to get entry into Nepal. Chinese Document can only be obtained through the Chinese Embassy in Kathmandu where we have to present the original passport along with the application form, colored recent photograph, and Document fee. This type of Document is issued by the Chinese Embassy within 2-3 working days. This is why non-indian travelers should reach the Kathmandu segment of the Kailash Manasarovar yatra pulsating on time.
