Itinerary

Day 01 Wednesday:  Delhi Department

Late afternoon at 1600 Hrs. arrive at Safdarjung Railway Station for check-in. You will be welcomed at the railway station in Traditional manner followed by welcome drink. After the welcome ceremony you will be introduced by the attendant of the train. A brief will be given regarding Tour program and other amenities.

After introduction you will proceed to board your respective cabins.

Day 02 Thursday: Jaipur

Early morning arrives in Jaipur. After a scrumptious breakfast on the board, we depart for our sightseeing tour of Jaipur.

Today we will visit Albert Hall Museum, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, City Palace, We will also enjoy an Elephant ride and indulge in some shopping.

Lunch will be at the 1135 AD Restaurants at Amber Fort.

Post lunch enjoys a tour of Amber Fort, before returning to the Palace on Wheels.

Later the train departments for Sawai Madhopur from Jaipur

Day 03 Friday: Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh

Early morning arrive at Sawai Madhopur. Deboard the train and proceed for Safari at Ranthambore National Park in search of tiger. There is a high chance of sighting a Tiger during your safari. Post-safari return to Palace on wheels for breakfast on board.

Post breakfast proceed for youn next destination Chittorgarh.

Lunch will be served on board

By early evening we arrived at Chittorgarh and proceed for sightseeing. Evening tea and light and sound show program at Fort Chittorgarh.

Later come back to Palace on Wheels

Day 04 Saturday: Udaipur

Past midnight the train will depart from Chittorgarh for Udaipur. Early morning arrive Udaipur railway Station. Breakfast will be served on board. Post breakfast, departure by Coach for sightseeing of Udaipur visiting Sahelion ki Bari, City Palace and Crystal Gallery. You will also have some time for shopping.

Lunch at Royal Banquet Fateh Prakash Palace in Udaipur.

Post lunch enjoys a boat ride on Lake Pichola before returning to the Palace on Wheels.

Evening tea on board, later in the evening continue your ride for Jaisalmer.

05: Sunday: Jaisalmer

Enjoy breakfast on board before departing for sightseeing of Jaisalmer, visiting Gadisagar Lake, Jaisalmer Fort, Havelis and city

Lunch will be served at Gorbandh Palace

Post lunch drive to visit Sam Sand dunes with camel ride. Enjoy tea and coffee at the Sand Dunes before returning to the Palace on Wheels.

Dinner and cultural program at a 5-star hotel in Jaisalmer. Later at night, you will depart for Jodhpur

Overnight at Palace on Wheels

Day 06 Monday: Jodhpur

Arrival at Mandore railway station in the morning followed by breakfast on board. Later departure for sightseeing visiting Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan Museum and shopping

Lunch will be at Taj Hari Mahal

Later, return to the Palace on Wheels for departure for Bharatpur

Day 07 Tuesday: Bharatpur & Agra

Morning arrival at Bharatpur. Soon after arrival, we will depart for a visit to Bharatpur bird sanctuary. Post-safari, return to Palace on Wheels for Breakfast on board.

Later, department for Agra. On arrival at Agra, visit Agra Fort followed by lunch at 5 star Hotel. Post lunch we will visit the beautiful Taj Mahal. Time for some last minute shopping before returning to the train.

Day 08 Wednesday: Arrive Delhi

Early morning arrival at Safdarjung railway station, Delhi. Breakfast on board before you disembark from the Palace on Wheels.

39 Deluxe Cabins

There are 13 carriages in Palace on Wheels and each one has three deluxe cabins In total, there are 39 deluxe cabins in Palace on Wheels. Each cabin can accommodate two people with or without an infant. Each cabin is named after a precious stone and is decorated in the theme of the stone’s colour. A deluxe cabin has a large bed, writing desk, siting area, chairs and access to a butler. The bed can be combined as double bed or as twin beds, on request.

Prices Include:

•  Accommodation for (07) nights on double share basis in Deluxe Cabin. 
•  All meals as per itinerary.
•  Services of English Speaking Guide for the sightseeing as per the itinerary.
•  Transport will be using air-conditioned tourist coach.
•  One Time monument Entrances as per the Itinerary.
•  01 camel ride at Sam dunes, Jaisalme.
•  01 Shared Jeep Safari at Ranthambore National Park.
•  01 Shared boat ride on Lake Pichola, Udaipur.
•  Rickshaw ride at Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.

Prices Do Not Include:

Palace on Wheels Train Tour Will Operate Subject to Booking of Minimum Fifteen Cabins.

In case Train Tour Operator decides to Cancel the Schedule Departure Full Refund is Paid back to the Client for the Train Journey ONLY.

Current Train Tour Operator Easy Toll Solution and Cube Construction (Joint Collaboration of RTDC and Easy Toll Solution & Cube Constructions ) is liable to give at least Fifteen Days Prior notice if scheduled departure is cancelled

Tips for Travellers for Planning their Tour

Note:

•  Departure during Christmas and New Year eve will subject to 10% surcharge.

•  Goods & Service Tax (GST) will be applicable over and above the invoice amount.

•  Children between 05-12 years of age will be charged 50% of the prevailing tariff. 

•  Children below 05 years of age will be charged 10% of the prevailing tariff.
