Day 1 - Arrival - Visit Munneswaram & Manavari in Chilaw – Transfer Anuradhapura

Munneswaram Temple - Place where the King Rama prayed to Shiva after committing the worst crime named as Brahmahasti. God Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised him to install and praying four lingams at 5 places to get rid of dosham. One of the important Ramayana tour sites in Sri Lanka.

Anuradhapura is a UNESCO World Heritage and cradle of glorious Sinhalese Buddhist civilization. The pride of place in Anuradhapura was taken by the ancient stupas and ancient reservoirs.

Thirukoneswaram Kovil Trincomalee was built by sage Agasthyar as per the instructions of Lord Shiva who was impressed by the devotion of King Ravana. This place has the uniqueness of the lord building a temple for his devotee as a reward for his devotion.
