Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi – Amritsar

Upon arriving at Delhi our tour representative will assist you to New Delhi railway station where you will be made to board an overnight train to Amritsar.

Day 2: Amritsar

Early in the morning upon your arrival, you will be duly checked in to your hotel and after having your breakfast and freshening up you will be made to proceed for a complete day of sightseeing tour. This sightseeing will start off from a visit to Golden Temple – one of the most prominent sites of pilgrimage for Sikhs. You will then be taken to Jallianwala Bagh – which is the chilling reminder of India’s colonial past; during the evening you will be taken to the Indo – Pak border of Wagah border where you will be made to witness the stunning flag retreat ceremony.

Your day of sightseeing will conclude once you are taken back to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Amritsar – Jammu – Katra
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to breathtaking Jammu. Upon your arrival here you will be made to visit the famous Raghunath temple – one of the largest Hindu temple complexes in Northern India consisting of seven different Hindu shrines.

Later after a soulful visit, you will be transferred to Katra, which is located at a distance of 1 hour and 30 mines. Here you will be staying the night in your allotted hotel.

Day 4: Katra – Vaishno Devi Temple – Katra
Early in the morning, you will be made to proceed towards Banganga – which will be the starting point for your trekking journey towards the sacred Vaishno Devi Temple. You have the option of either walking all the way up to the main shrine or hire an alternative method like, pony or Doli services, which will be incurred at your own cost. Helicopter services can also be availed up till Sanjichhat, which will also be incurred at your own cost. After the completion of your Darshan, you will be escorted back to Katra where you will be staying the night.

Day 5: Katra – Srinagar
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to Jammu and connect flight to Srinagar Upon your arrival, you will be checked in to your allotted Houseboat where you will be staying the night.

Day 6: Srinagar to Sonmarg

After arrival at Srinagar Airport, get received by and transferred to Sonmarg. On arrival at Sonmarg check in to the hotel & stay overnight in the hotel at Sonmarg.

Day 7: Sonmarg to Baltal

Early Morning Leave Sonmarg and reach Baltal. On arrival to Baltal, start trekking to Amarnath cave located at a distance of around 14 kilometers. The Amarnath-Baltal trek is the shortest route to reach Amarnath cave but also the most difficult one and may take 7- 8 hours trek. The Holy Cave darshan closes by 4.30 PM so the possibility of having darshan on the same day is not always possible. If reached early having darshan on the same day itself. Otherwise, have dinner and stay overnight in tents at Holy cave.

Day 8: Holy cave Darshan & back to Baltal & onward to Sonmarg

If darshan has not happened the previous day leave as early as morning as possible to the Amarnath cave for darshan. After darshan starts descending to Baltal. If your darshan happened on the previous day then start descending to Baltal by early morning. After, returning to base camp at Baltal get driven back to the hotel in Sonamarg (15 Km from Baltal).

Day 9: Sonamarg-Srinagar Sightseeing. 

After breakfast leave for Srinagar. After reaching Srinagar, complete check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Later, start your sightseeing tour at Srinagar. Visit the popular Mughal Gardens Shalimar Bagh, and Nishat Bagh, do the Shikara Ride in Dal Lake then finish up your day with the darshan at Shankaracharya Temple, Srinagar. Once back, stay at the hotel for the night.

Day 10: Depart from Srinagar

After breakfast and check out from the hotel and get an assisted transfer to the Srinagar Airport for your journey back home.

• Any charges of train, helicopter, auto, ropeway ticket of Gulmarg, Doli & Pony etc.
• Any claim or delay charges due to natural calamities, landslide, road blockage, etc. Or any other things which are not mentioned in cost included column.
• If due to any reasons beyond our control like a landslide, traffic jams, flood, riots, political unrest, bandhs, helicopter unavailability or bad weather conditions, accidents or any other natural or man-made misfortunes, the program will be needed to be changed or extended. The additional expenditure for the same will have to be borne by the passengers directly.
